Telegram Suggested Posts let someone send a ready-made post to a channel through its Direct Messages. It might be a review, image, video, promotion, or partner offer. The channel owner decides whether it belongs on the channel. They can reject it, suggest changes, publish it now, or schedule it for later.
An offered payment does not buy automatic publication. It is part of a proposal that the owner can accept or decline.
What happens when someone sends a Suggested Post

The sender opens a channel Direct Message and uses Telegram's Suggested Post option in the message bar. They prepare the post and can ask for a particular date and time, or choose Anytime. They can make the suggestion free or offer Telegram Stars or Toncoin for publication.
When a proposal arrives, review the whole offer before you respond:
- Check whether the post serves your audience.
- Check any links, claims, offered payment, and requested date.
- Reject it, or propose a change to the text, media, payment, or timing.
- When both people approve the final version, publish it immediately or schedule it.
Telegram describes this as an agreement process. A sender cannot place a post in your channel without your approval.
Set clear rules for channel post submissions
Before you receive proposals, make your rules easy to find in a pinned channel post or in the channel description. State the topics you accept, whether you consider unpaid submissions, paid placements, or both, how much notice you need for a requested date, and how paid or affiliate content should be labelled.
That lets you compare each proposal with a known standard instead of deciding from scratch every time.
Choose the right response to each proposal

For a paid proposal, read every detail before you approve. Check the destination link, media, requested publication time, and wording. Keep a copy of the final agreed version before it goes live.
What an optional payment changes
A Suggested Post can be free. When a sender offers Telegram Stars or Toncoin, Telegram says the owner receives the reward 24 hours after the post goes live. If the channel removes the post earlier, Telegram returns the full offered amount to the sender.
Telegram's announcement also warns that a buyer may receive a refund for Stars bought through third-party providers, which can result in Stars being deducted from the channel owner's balance. Telegram says a buyer cannot refund a Toncoin Suggested Post payment. That is a difference in Telegram's buyer-refund path, not a promise that any payment method is free of every risk.
Keep an agreed paid post live for the required period. Do not accept a promotion that you would not otherwise publish.
Suggested Posts are not a paid membership system
Suggested Posts help you decide what gets published in a channel. They do not sell subscriptions, keep a customer record, or give someone access to a private channel or group.
For paid private access, use a separate membership flow. An InviteMember subscription plan can include private Telegram channels or groups, Discord roles, and manual benefits. The two tools can work alongside each other: use Suggested Posts for channel content you may publish, and use an InviteMember plan when the customer is paying to enter the private space.
